I currently accept Lyra EAP. I do not accept insurance and would be considered an out-of-network provider for PPO plans. I can provide a monthly invoice (called a superbill) for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend checking your insurance plan before your first session to understand your benefits.

I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients with financial need. At this time, all sliding scale spots are full.
-
I accept cash, checks, and credit cards, including Health Savings Account (HSA) cards. Payment is expected at the time of the session.

If you anticipate involvement in a court case, please contact me to discuss the details. I do not provide child custody recommendations. If I am subpoenaed or required to participate in legal proceedings, a $3,000 retainer is due one week prior to the court date, with an hourly rate of $500 for preparation, materials, travel, and attendance, unless agreed otherwise.

In accordance with the No Surprises Act and other federal regulations, you are entitled to request a Good Faith Estimate of your expected healthcare costs. This ensures you have a clear understanding of your treatment plan and potential financial responsibilities. Your Good Faith Estimate will reflect the expected cost of services based on the initial information provided during your consultation. Your estimate will include a breakdown of the estimated number of sessions, assessments and/or additional services and associated costs.
Please note that the actual cost may vary depending on your specific treatment needs and the number of sessions required. If you are planning to begin psychotherapy, please request the estimate during your initial consultation or prior to scheduling your appointment. I will provide a detailed breakdown of your expected costs for services.
In some cases, the actual costs may differ from the Good Faith Estimate due to changes in the scope of services or additional sessions required. If there are any significant changes to the estimate, I will notify you in advance. If you feel the final cost differs significantly from the estimate, you may dispute the charges. For more information on how to dispute the cost, please refer to the federal guidelines or contact my office directly.
Your privacy is important to me. Any financial information or details about your services will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws. Your Good Faith Estimate is provided solely to help you plan for your care and is not shared with any third parties without your consent.
